Some frequent errors and fix in BOXiR2

_____________________________________________________________________________________
Problem:
System hangs, after hitting the Refresh button, while creating/modifying a WebI report which uses a prompt. (Note: Report will run properly if no prompts are included).

Fix:
Check to see if you have Java 5 and Java 6 loaded to your system. If so, have a system administrator remove one of the versions. (Start / Control Panel / Add or Remove Programs / J2SE Runtime Environment [version])

Problem:
Receive a Web Intelligence message stating “There is no data corresponding to this query.”

Fix:
There are no rows that meet the criteria in the query. Double-check query conditions. Basic logic applies – If using “equals”, there should be only one value If using In List, use semi-colons to separate values (instead of commas) Can’t have a value AND another conflicting value in the same conditions (try OR)
The user may not have permissions to access the data. Open ticket and submit to AFPC/DPDOPI AFCSU.
